But I'm gonna tell the whole world that...
I pass my road test.

SO,
I'm sure you guys heard of this 60 earth hour campaign thingy. no?

What is Earth Hour?
Its a global light-out initiative WWF(world wildlife fund).
Millions of ppl around the globe will turn off their lights for 1 hour.

How does this help?
By turning off together along with millions of other ppl, sends a signal of concern on the state of the planet, as well as your commitment to fight the mood-swings-weathers a.k.a climate changes/global warming.
You see,
lighting uses about 5 to 15% of electricity in the residential sector and approx 37% for offices.
By eliminating these inefficient lighting, WE could save millions of dollars while drastically reducing greenhouse gas emission.( good "barter system" eh?)


It seems that it started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia with 2.2 million homes and businesses turning their lights off for one whole hour. Only a year later and this event had become a global sustainability movement with up to 100 million people across 35 countries participating. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square, all stood in darkness, as symbols of hope for a cause that grows more urgent by the hour.

This Earth hour "event" will be held on the 28th of March '09, 8.30pm-9.30pm.
Everyone around the globe will be participating.
So just turn off your lights just for an hour.
Its just a flick away from the switch peeps.
YOU can make different.
